SELF-EXPLANATORY AND INTUITIVE – IMMISSION CONTROL MADE EASY
As one of the leading software tools in immission control, service providers, authorities and industrial companies have been relying on IMMI for more than 30 years. IMMI is our software package for noise calculation outdoors, noise pollution in working areas and dispersion of air pollutants.
30 YEARS IMMI – CELEBRATE WITH US
Our software for immission control IMMI entered markets in 1992 and is thus proudly 30 years old. Celebrate with us and go on a time travel along the most important milestones – from DOS to Windows, from floppy disks to CDs and downloads, from guidelines to regulations – on our anniversary page!
WHY IS NOISE ONE OF THE GREATEST CHALLENGES OF OUR TIME?
Life is not only becoming faster and faster, but also louder and louder. Caused by industry and commerce, traffic or neighbors – we are surrounded by noise almost around the clock. Some loud and disturbing like the permanent building site next door or the main road in front of our door, others under our own control like the radio in our car. The threshold at which the individual perceives a sound as noise varies greatly. What is certain, however, is that the exposure to loud noise can impair performance and sleep, reduce the quality of life and, in the worst case, even cause illness. In order to ensure compliance with limit values and, if necessary, to develop effective noise reduction measures, a well-founded noise forecast is essential.

HOW IS IMMISSION CONTROL LEGALLY REGULATED?
The core of immission control in Germany is the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG). In addition to the existing regulations in Germany, IMMI also supports all relevant international calculation regulations. Here you will find an overview. For further information about standard-compliant calculations, please contact our experts Janosch Blaul and Denise Müller directly.
